It’s the gift giving season and some of us don’t have the best radar when it comes to giving. This is the time of year when everyone sneaks around trying to find out what to give that special someone. Men, in particular, are difficult to buy gifts for because we’re always into something different.
The best way to determine what gift to get him is to look at his personality. There is the classic guy’s guy who likes all things rugged. Next, there is the “creative thinker” guy who is on the quieter side, but always has an eye for something cool. Then there is the “trend setter” or “geek” guy, who loves the newest and hottest things and must be the first to have them. Whether it’s a cool pair of sun glasses for the trend setter or the latest in electronics for the geek, you can never go wrong with a hot new item. Finally, we have the sports guy who is usually the easiest to shop for. All you have to do is get him something sports-related; usually something involving his favorite sports team is a no-brainer (if you know what team that is).
No matter what his personality is, I have formulated a list of gift ideas for guys you can buy on a college student budget and a few that you may have to get a part-time job to cover (that’s only if you really care about the person).
