LeBron is cashing in quickly on his newly appointed MVP status. Nike recently launched LeBron’s new sneaker, “The Six MVP Edition.” This is not the first time the marketing geniuses at Nike have created a special sneaker for LeBron James to align with a campaign or an event – they do roughly 15 special sneakers per year. Some examples are the Big Apple Edition, The St.Vincent – St. Mary’s Six for St. Patrick’s Day, All Star, and The Easter Six.

LeBron wore the new “Six MVP Edition’s” in the Round 2, Game 1 victory vs. the Atlanta Hawks. It is the last time those sneakers will ever be worn in a game and generally that pair goes to charity.

All in all, LeBron James is a cash cow. He’s personable, he’s charismatic, and he’s arguably the most marketable athlete in the world right now. He even has formed a close relationship with the Omaha Oracle, Warren Buffet. No wonder he said he wants to be the first ever Billionaire Athlete in America. If LeBron has a Business Card it wouldn’t say Basketball Player, it would simply say LeBron James, Ambassador of Kwan.
