SOPA Protest: Top 20 Tweets About #FactsWithoutWikipedia

And it’s finally over. The great blackout of 2012 where sites like Wikipedia, Reddit, I Can Has Cheeseburger, and us refused to go about their daily activities in protest of tyrannical legislation, internet-destroying legislation. SOPA and PIPA look to be down for the count, and if they’re not down, they’re on the ropes. Great, now we can go back to doing what we do.

At one point yesterday, 5 out of 10 trending topics were all SOPA and PIPA related, our favorite of which being #FactsWithoutWikipedia. In usual trending topic fashion, the Twitter-verse pulled out all their guns, trying to one-up each other and spread awareness at the same time.
