If you didn’t already know, Sony is in talks with Ubisoft to turn the uber popular Assassin’s Creed franchise into a movie (or more…depending on how well it does). But that isn’t the shocker – it’s the amount of creative control that Ubisoft is demanding, which is unheard of in the retarded world of Hollywood. Filmmakers are up-in-arms over it, but I’m a firm believer in the idea, and here’s why.

Sony just released the Dev-5’s, binoculars capable of a 20x Zoom, while maintaining full quality imaging, and yes, digitally recording everything they see. So here’s the burning question: besides the most obvious and sinister reason for owning a pair of recording binoculars, what use could a normal, non-stalker person have for these? Let’s try and think.
Don’t want to ruin it, but this one takes all your favorite fictional video game characters and puts them together to make the most epic video game system commercial in history. Cool concept, a lot of nostalgia, and at the end of the day, video games. Props Sony. We love the new direction.
