This week’s episode of Entourage is continuing the trend of season 7: a 30 minute episode of nothing going on. Don’t get me wrong, its still 30 minutes of bliss because its Entourage, but the “story lines” are weak and I just can’t see where their going with it. But this is all besides the point, lets get to the recap (Spoiler Alert):

Drama is still desperately looking for a new project. Then, an acclaimed writer agrees to write a new show with Drama as the lead. The catch? It’s a sitcom. Everyone keeps convincing Drama that he’s really funny, and just doesn’t know it (we’ve been laughing at him for years, so we know its true). How can we make this new set-up even better? John Stamos wants to co-star. This is the one plot line I have sincere hope for.

Ari is intent on keeping his distance from Lizzie after the incident last episode when a very jealous Mrs. Ari saw him lifting her up and spinning her around after getting some fantastic business news. Mrs. Ari is still upset, and we know that when Mrs. Ari is upset, so is Ari Gold. Lizzie comes to him asking for a promotion: to head the TV department. Ari automatically says no before she can finish getting her words out, even though both he and Lizzie know she’s more than qualified. As a result, Lizzie quits, causing a feud between Ari and Barbara.

Turtle’s business is not doing as well as he likes everyone to think, and is forced to cut his drivers’ salary in half, leading to them all quitting. Alex (the former driver who he hit on) calls him extremely pissed off, saying the check he gave her bounced. After talking it out, she says she knows a way both of them can make some money.

Meanwhile, Vince is doing something stupid: getting more wrapped up and chummy with Eric’s rival, Scott. The guy is a complete douchebag, and how Vince can’t see this is beyond me – although I must say it was pretty damn funny when  Scott said  “Was Visanthe Shiancoe trying to use it as a cup?” in reference to Adrian Peterson’s collector skull.  When Eric finds out that Scott introduced Vince to someone he’s interested in working with and found his next potential script, he gets upset and goes to the party at Vince’s to confront Scott.

This episode left us with a bunch of cliffhangers…but we’ll just have to wait until next Sunday to see how everything plays out with our favorite boys.
