So, if you didn’t already put two and two together, Lady Gaga is a fame whore. Not only in her music career, but in the years preceeding it as well, when she was just a struggling “artist.” I guess she wanted to get as much screen time as humanly possible, because she’s been popping up all over the place.
As you may well already know, she was a contestant on MTV’s “Boiling Points” when she was just a normal weirdo. Of course, she gets angry and loses the game, but that’s neither here nor there. The point is, there’s no way she was randomly selected to be on the show, and then shortly after becomes this ridiculously famous pop culture figure. She had to be looking for the opportunity to be on television.
And there’s more evidence to prove my point. It now has come out that Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, was also a very minor character in one episode of HBO’s The Sopranos (see clip below). Being a television extra is definitely something you need to volunteer for. I know this has huge implications: 1. That Boiling Points is totally set up in every way (which is not that hard to believe), 2. That Gaga has been trying to break into whatever scene she could for some time now, and 3. That she’s just an actress, one who in reality is fairly normal, simply playing the role of Lady Gaga, a character who’s an eccentric singer/songwriter. She rose to the top by exploiting a gimmick that brought her all the fame that she ever wanted as Stefani Germanotta.
