Conan O’Brien demonstrates his witty comedy and appeal in this new sketch that pits online colleges University of Phoenix and Kaplan University in the final, not so well known, college bowl game.
Conan was recently crowned the current king of Late Night TV for the final quarter of 2010. Conan’s TBS show came in at #1 in both the 18-34 and 18-49 demographics, the group of people that matters most to the advertisers who pay for the show. DVR was said to play a big part in the victory, which demonstrates the loyal fan base that is recording the daily Late Night TV show. The victory, although slight with an avg. 1.4 million viewers to Leno’s 1.3 million and Lettermans 1.1 million, must still be a painful pill to swallow for NBC, of whom relieved Conan of his duties earlier in the year.
