Yesterday was Twitter’s birthday marking the social media’s sixth year in existence. Twitter has revolutionized the way we receive our news through trending topics. It’s also so easy now to send a message to your favorite actor, musician or athlete. You may even get a shout out or retweet from your favorite celebrity if you happen to say the right thing. If you thought Tebowmania or Linsainty was bad, it’s a shame Twitter wasn’t around for the Beatles. Remember the days of sending fan male through the Post Office? Jimmy Kimmel wanted to embrace celebrity and fan interactions as only he could do best. Kimmel got famous people to read hateful tweets sent to them on air in this three minute video. Among those included in the segment are Andy Dick, Kristen Bell, Kathy Griffin and the hilarious Will Ferrell.
