Today, the Harry Potter series will finally end after the 10-year-in-the-making movie adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s massively popular seven-part series premieres for audiences around the globe on the big screen.
Another week, another Throwback Thursday. For the younger kids out there, these might be before your time, but I’m sure there are at least a few seniors (or fifth year seniors) that remember this far back. Let’s take a journey back to years past for some nostalgic fun…
It is my belief that anyone attached to enough considerable evidence of Steroid use should be disqualified from the Hall of Fame, and maybe even Baseball. I realize this is an entirely radical belief but I would have settled for Perjury convictions of Bonds and Clemens. As of today, it doesn’t seem like either of those dreams will ever come to fruition.
Is it Awards Season again already? The Emmy nominations dropped today, with some givens as well as some huge surprises. How do I feel about the Emmys. I’ll spare you that diatribe. Let’s just go over the facts.
Work hard, play hard, and in the midst of all of that go to HARD Summer Music Festival 2011. HARD is an annual, national music festival featuring electronic rock, techno, dance punk, dubstep and house music artists. The Los Angeles community is welcoming HARD back after a few disappointments when Hard Summer 2009 was shut down, Electric Daisy Carnival 2010 ended in death, and HARD Summer 2010 was a comeback that left a lot to be desired.
Here at The Campus Socialite, we love Team USA and you should too. Why? Because their hot (check out this gallery if you don’t believe me), their American, and their #winning. It’s just too bad the games air during the day when half of us are at work, or class, or in the middle of some much needed afternoon-delight (clap clap).
