I didn’t think much of it when I saw something about “the window of the future.” Then I watched this, about the new smart window that Samsung premiered at CES 2012, and well, my mind is blown. I cannot wait until they have these everywhere, they’re seriously badass.

It used to be that when people would go to see their favorite bands and DJs play, they would actually listen to the music, take in all of the visual stimulation around them, and get lost in the vibe. The advent of camera phones changed all of that. Nowadays you see a lot of people standing awkwardly still, taking videos with their smartphones. But startup Outlisten is proof that that doesn’t have to be a bad thing.
I refuse to believe that this thing is real. It just doesn’t make sense to my inferior mind, so I’m forced to be skeptical. If it is legit, then I’ll never look at kitchenware the same again.
The video’s description really does say it all. This is a masterpiece, combining a stuff-ton of classic quotes and moments from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” and synchronizing them into 4 minutes of dubsteppy goodness. You really really don’t wanna miss this one.
Hunter S. Thompson wrote a book about it, Elvis wrote a song about it, and Bradley Cooper, Zack Galifiniakis, and Ed Helms did a movie about it. So what is it about Vegas that keeps people coming over and over again? Pretty obvious I would think, but for those who love ridiculous statistics, here’s an Infographic that puts Vegas in perspective.
Penn State student Christian Petredis came up with the beat this past Summer with Sam Narick signing the hook. Then they grabbed Maserati Mo and Mike Wallz, both Penn State football players, to drop the rap verses and “Falling To You” was born. For a few college students frickin around on laptops, we have to say, the track is really sick.
I’m sure you remember Turntable.fm, the free online service that lets you DJ online for your remote friends and complete strangers across the web. It was cool for a while, but quickly lost its novelty when people realized that they were putting all of this work into it, and not really getting much back aside from a couple of anonymous head nods. Well, Facebook just took that idea and made it much more accessible: it’s time to listen with friends.
In case you couldn’t figure it out already, we kinda have a boner for the “6 hour extrasensory experience” known as Cosmic Opera. What kind of shenanigans this concert/circus entails, we still aren’t 100% sure – but with Swedish House Mafia’s Axwell at the helm and Hammerstein Ballroom as the host, you can bet your asses we’ll be there. Tickets go on sale January 17th, so be ready.
Jack is a man who came from nothing and rose up to become a modern-day Buddha of business, social interactions, and mind power (and control). Needless to say, he has some wisdom to share, and with just these 20 quotations and a good head of hair, you could be running corporations and banging supermodels in no time. Fuck Self-Help books. A few Jack Donaghyisms are all you need. Don’t hurt yourself.
Instant Panty Dropper. This new track “When It Gets Cold” comes to us directly from University of Wisconsin where Quincy Kwalae and JT Roach are killing it. Smooth vocals, acoustic guitar, a little drums. Basically, you need to grab a girl, sit her down on your couch, and play this track immediately. Babies will be made.
