Where you guys headed for Spring Break? Punta Cana, Cancun? Have you thought about Bolivia? South American-style weather, huge party scene, and (drumroll) the first Cocaine Bar in history. Route 36 has taken tourism to a new level. Amsterdam says Americans can’t smoke weed anymore, Bolivia says we can come and be served Cocaine in little black bags, with 8 centimeter straws, in a bar.

Let’s be honest, you didn’t wake up in time to catch the AM appearance of 11:11, 11/11/11. I understand – I’m not a huge fan of waking up before noon either. But don’t fret, you still have one more chance to catch an event that only happens once every hundred years. Here are a collection of some good wishes for when that moment comes.
Jim Breuer is a comedian who became world famous by starring in the stoner comedy Half Baked and playing a variety of characters on Saturday Night Live including his most recognizable…Goat Boy. He continues to perform around the world today and also hosts his own radio show and podcast. Recently he produced a film following his life on the road while taking care of his aging father, an emotional journey not expected from a guy who got famous by screaming “Metallica!” on stage.
Kids will do just about anything to get slobbering drunk nowadays, won’t they? Back in my high school hey-day we used to do things the old fashioned way: drink through our mouths – but apparently that’s not hardcore enough for teenagers who smoke spice and snort Ketamine way before they even start college. I can’t wait to show my family how normal I am compared to these fudge-ups.
You might remember Adobo, a B villain with just about the most generic villainesque features one could ask for. Well the Double Dragon dudes have taken his son, and he is pissed, and now must travel through every noteworthy game in NES history to exact his revenge. I see Contra, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Punch-Out, Mario. I think I may have even caught some Dig Dug. Check out the trailer and have yourself a nostalgic remix overdose.
Does Brittney from Georgia have what it takes to be Maxim’s Hometown Hottie, 2011? Well, she’s the only one so far who cares enough about my vote to have made a video. Major points is all I have to say. Get about 30 seconds into this video and Brittney from Georgia might just woo you. Check out the rest of the Hometown Hotties at Maxim.com. We were partial to Melanie Iglesias, But Damn!
People love their tattoos, that’s for sure, and what better tattoo than one that commemorates your favorite board game? Yes, that was very rhetorical.
Apparently people who drink crap beer weren’t happy enough with the 4.2% alcohol that you get with regular Bud Light or the 5% for Budweiser, so now there’s a nonsensical new version of America’s favorite stuffty beer called Bud Light Platinum, and it comes with a slightly heftier 6% alcohol content. Oooooh, that’s awfully noble of you Anheuser-Busch.
If you don’t watch Community on NBC, consider this a call to action. People Magazine is currently accepting submissions for the annual Sexiest Man Alive competition in the form of a video, making a mundane action look sexy. Joel McHale, star of Community, responded by making a video of him making coffee. But wait a minute or so and things get a little more interesting. Definitely sexier. Enjoy.
Colleges might be overrun nowadays by McDonald’s, Starbucks, and all the typical banners that have come to paint cool little cities across the nation. That’s ok though, it’s America. But still, isn’t it nice to have those little mom and pop shops around as well? Those litte hole-in-the-wall spots that you would argue for to the death if someone said they didn’t make the best cheeseburger or the best cup of coffee. Well, you can help support those places on Saturday, November 26th: Small Business Saturday.
