Some nights you want the all out club. Some nights you want the dive bar. Variety is good but there are some bars who won’t settle for the common tags. They go above and beyond with unique, creative and at times ridiculous concepts. I’ve been to a few in my time and I’m here to tell you my 5 absolute favorites. You won’t find them everywhere but you can damn sure try.

Last week was New York’s Comic Con, and comedian Jared Freid, otherwise known as that Frat Dude, was there searching for other “dudes.” He definitely picked some winners. I’ll be honest – I didn’t expect much from a dude wearing a backwards snapback and his keys on a lanyard, but I was pleasantly surprised by his comic timing and quick wit. Keep up the good work, Frat Dude.
Too legit to quit is right. We should have stopped hearing the name MC Hammer years ago yet he continues to make the news every so often for reasons that grow more and more ridiculous with time. The story this week is either a genius PR stunt or the ravings of a washed up lunatic. Mr. Hammer is launching his own Search Engine which he hopes will compete with Google and Bing.

Sheboygan, Wisconsin might not be famous for much, but now they at least have a viral video. I can’t quite figure out how it happened, but somehow 6,810 bottles of wine at Superior Discount Liquors took the plunge and turned the warehouse into a ankle-high flood of alcohol. I blame one of those two guys.
As funny as streaking is during a major sporting event, who’s not gonna notice the naked guy running onto the field? This fan, at a University of Arizona vs. UCLA Football game, took things to the next level by dressing up as a referee and using his 5-10 seconds of incognito to actually stop a play. His shorts should have given him away, but nobody seemed to notice until he joyfully ran off camera.
Truth be told, this should probably be illegal. But it’s not so let’s all enjoy. These geniuses wrapped bungee cords around telephone poles, added a harness, threw in a Quad and invented the first ever, home-made Human Slingshot. I’m practically pissing my pants just watching it.

This girl is completely out of this world. I never heard of her until today, but now I’m going to spend the rest of the day hunting through the Internet for more pictures of this scantily clad goddess. PickMeUpNews.com, you’ve done it again.
