Virginia Tech was the site of a tragic masacre in 2007. Nothing has happened yet today, but the university is on lockdown following reports of a man with a concealed weapon spotted on campus. The man was spotted by three students and appeared to be concealing something under a cloth and walking very fast. The students reported it right away, and the campus has been on lockdown ever since.
We can confidently speak for colleges around the world by saying we are all hoping for everyone at Virginia Tech’s safety. 2007 was a tragedy like no other, and The Campus Socialite has it’s fingers crossed that nothing like that will happen today.
