In anticipation of Chiddy Bang’s upcoming album The Preview comes a remix of their radio hit “Opposite of Adults (Kids).” The song itself is already a remix of MGMT’s “Kids,” so be prepared for some remix-of-a-remix action. This reworking comes from Boulder, CO duo Big Gigantic, who just released a new record of their own called A Place Behind the Moon. According to Hypetrak, Xaphoon Jones, the producer and drummer of Chiddy Bang, heard Big G’s new album and reached out to them to remix the song. It’s some great synergy: Bringing together two very different music scenes (three if you include MGMT in there). Hear the remix after the jump.

Big Gigantic is two-piece consisting of Dominic Lalli (saxophone, producer) and Jeremy Salken (drums). They combine elements of modern electronic music with jazz, creating sexy, dancetastic rhythms that will make you groove. Go see them live.
Chiddy Bang consists of rapper Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege and drummer/producer Noah “Xaphoon Jones” Beresin. The duo’s sound is based on the fusion of hip-hop and unique sample choices from alternative artists (such as MGMT, for instance).
