Game of Thrones probably seems nerdy as hell at first glance, but that’s only because you haven’t watched it yet. It is HBO’s best currently running show by far (take that Boardwalk Empire). It’s Sopranos meets middle-earth, with more sex, more dragons, smarter dialogue and all-out sword battles instead of one fat Italian dude shooting another in the back. We’re 7 long months away from Game of Thrones Season 2, so long that I’ve actually considered reading the books, yet HBO is already doing it’s part on promotion. I won’t lie to you, this trailer shows absolutely nothing. Still though, there’s something to be said about the fact that HBO is even releasing a teaser, 7 months before the premiere and in the midst of the actual premiere of Boardwalk Empire Season 2. Which do you think is the better show? I’m going GOT, and I’m gonna say HBO agrees.
