Hot on the heels of the latest leak from the prince of dubstep, electro trio Krewella recently unveiled their latest endeavor, “Killin’ It”. The high-octane release launched “The Krew” to capture the #1 non-remix an #1 Most Tweeted, as well as a 48-hour reign as the #1 Hottest Track on the Soundcloud Chart. As January closed, the group was the fastest rising artist on Last.fm’s Hyped Artist Chart.
Capitalizing on the online momentum, Krewella unleashes their first official video. Shot on a $45.00 budget by the incredibly talented RadioEditAV team, the video showcases The Krew as they tear down Chicago one party at a time. With scenes from Krewella’s backyard in the infamous Chicago meat market district (think Al Capone or Upton Sinclair’s “The Jungle”), this high-energy visual gives a peak into the wonderfully chaotic world of Chicago’s new heavy-hitter trio.
Krewella is an electro group from Chicago comprised of sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf joined by producer Rain Man. Making their debut in the summer of 2011, the trio instantly exploded onto the electro scene with their genre defying releases. Seamlessly merging infectious melodies with snarling dubstep drops, Krewella continues to defy norms in EDM music.
