Who said that Lindsay Lohan can’t accomplish anything she puts her mind to? The young actress probably has every drug in existence under her belt. That’s quite the achievement. I’m super impressed. This one is breaking news: pictures of Lindsay Lohan shooting up some smack at a party were just discovered/released/leaked. Whoa, Lindsay, didn’t know you got down that way. Like all sketchy celeb photos, they are grainy and non-specific, so I’m willing to approach the subject with a healthy amount of cynicism. But with her recorded history of drug abuse and epic life fails, it’s hard to deny the factuality of the situation shown in these pictures.
I have one problem with this though. Why are these photos surfacing now? Apparently, they were taken back in 2007. I know that if I had taken pictures of Lindsay Lohan plugging her veins with dope, I would attempt to sell them immediately. There’s a lot of moolah in the paparazzi industry, and these pictures are a gold mine. There’s only two explanations I can think of: 1. Someone took the photos by way of cell phone (which seems to be the case judging by the quality) and forgot about them, which seems highly unlikely or, 2. This is yet another way for LiLo to keep herself in the news, because there’s no such thing as bad publicity. It seems undeniable that this release was set up in one way or another.

So what is this girl’s problem? She says that she has a disease and that she’s trying to overcome it. While drug abuse is a disease, it seems like she was addicted to the spotlight first, and everything else is just a result of that. I can’t pretend to be an expert on her life, but I’ve seen my share of people with problems, and it seems like Lindsay Lohan’s go way deeper than a few casual drug dependencies. I have a feeling that she’s doomed to a life of repeat offenses and thirty day jail sentences, though I highly doubt any of that will help her recover. However, I never like coming off pompous or insensitive, so I’m going to end this news update by sincerely wishing LiLo good luck in taking back control of her life. I hope she has the willpower to beat her disease.
