To all my readers at Georgetown, American University, and all the broke college kids in the D.C. area: LivingSocial is here to help, with $1 lunch specials all over the city. The internet based, “instant deal” company announced today that by using the LivingSocial app, students will be pointed in the direction of $1 lunch deals at various different restaurants. The app works with the GPS on your smart phone, and alerts you of deals that are within half a mile of your current location. Unfortunately, LivingSocial has not released the list of participating restaurants, so expect to be a mobs of starving college students running up and down streets with their Droids out. Should be a pretty site. The deal only lasts from 11AM to 2PM, so go get yourself some Fucking Grub. Thank us later.
