Das Best Oktoberfest In NYC!!
Das Best Oktoberfest is coming to NYC October 23-24 (this weekend!) for two days of non-stop fun, food, and suds! The event, produced by the Trigger Agency, will take place at La.Venue in West Chelsea (608 West 28th St between 11th St and 28th Ave). There are three exclusive tasting sessions; Tickets are available online at www.nyoktoberfest.com. More information after the jump.
Ticket holders can sample over 200 international and craft beers, wines, and schnapps from the finest German breweries, vineyards, and distilleries. Each guest will be treated to German sausage, singing, and dancing to live music from authentic oompah and polka bands like the New York Klezmer Ensemble, Alpine Squeeze, the Austrian Boys, the Crazy Oompah Band, and more. Plus, local restaurants will be on-hand with samples of their own German-inspired foods for all to enjoy. Guests are highly encouraged to dress in authentic German garb.
Das Best Oktoberfest: Festival Competitions
Become a YouTube sensation and compete in Das Best Beer Belly competition for men—bare it if you dare—or in the Miss Oktoberfest contest open to all merry maids, who will be judged on their appearance, costume, and knowledge of Oktoberfest. All winners receive $100 in cash and a trophy beer mug. There will be two winners per session.
Das Best Oktoberfest: Ticket options
VIP Admission – $95. Includes admission into the event, a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited sampling of beer, wine, and schnapps, German sausage platter dinner, entry into the VIP area that includes special tasting and other benefits, access to VIP washrooms, and all live entertainment.
General Admission – $75. Includes admission into the event, a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited sampling of beer, wine, and schnapps, German sausage platter dinner, and all live entertainment.
Designated Driver Tickets – $50. Includes admission to the event only.
2-Day Grand Oompah Ticket – $285 (available in advance only)

Sunday October 24 – One Session
Noon to 5:00 p.m.
