Movies: Our Idiot Brother
Our Idiot Brother is everything a Campus Socialite could want. An All-Star Cast, Hot Girls (Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel and Rashida Jones), and a man child who just refuses to grow up. Paul Rudd is always good for some laughs (if you don’t count his last starring role in Dinner for Schmucks), and frankly, i’ve missed him a little bit. My Idiot Brother could obviously go either way, but from what I see so far, it looks like the perfect comedy for end of summer. Did I mention Hot Girls?
Blu-Ray: Swingers
Probably one of the most socialite movies of all tine. For those who haven’t seen it, it drops on Blu-Ray tomorrow, and you should get a copy ASAP. Jon Favreau plays a pretty cool dude who had his heart ripped out by an ex. Vince Vaughn, the ultimate swinger, needs to get him back in shape and what ensues is pure beer chugging, ho slingin, Hollywood madness. Favreau has come a long way since Swingers, but this will always stand as one of his all-time classics.
