Movies: Apollo 18
This week is a little lackluster in the movie department, but if you’re one of those people who watched a Nat Geo special and believes the Moon Landing never happened, you might find this interesting. The film is shot Mockumenatry style, and chronicles the Apollo 18 mission (that was never actually launched) and offers a hypothesis for why we’ve never been back to the moon: man eating parasites. Ok, sounds pretty stupid, but hey, rough week. Apologies.
DVD: UFC Bad Blood: Liddell vs. Ortiz
All you Hardcore UFC fans out there know exactly what the words Liddell vs. Ortiz mean. Both fighters were pioneers in the sport and helped make it the juggernaut that it is today. They have also had one of the most savage rivalries in the history of MMA, and have fought some of the most epic battles to date. That long rivalry, and every punch included in it, will now be enshrined on DVD. Liddell is now retired and Ortiz is getting there, but their often intertwined legacies live on.
