Okay, so I realize that at first glance this movie looks totally lame, but I assure you that it’s going to be amazing. Steven Spielberg really hasn’t directed anything since Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, for good reason: that movie was awful. But this is a marvelous tale of a young man named Albert and his horse, Joey, and how their bond is broken when Joey is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of World War One. Despite being too young to enlist, Albert heads to France to save his friend. That’s just beautiful. Trust me, this movie is going to be epic.
