Exercise! Exercise! Exercise!
If you exercise at least 30 minutes (cardio) a day whether it be at the gym or a brisk walk you can improve your mood! The Mayo Clinic tells us that “Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier and more relaxed than you were before you worked out. You’ll also look better and feel better when you exercise regularly, which can boost your confidence and improve your self-esteem. Regular physical activity can even help prevent depression.”
You can put that stress or anger you have into running or lifting weights to achieve positive results that is harmful to no one!

Seriously. Pick a place that is yours, a place where you can sit and relax without being bothered by family or friends. This place can be as simple as your backyard to a park. It is your get-a-way and with time to reflect on any situation. You’ll get peace of mind, and others won’t have to deal with a stressed out you!
You’ve Got A Friend In Me!
Everyone needs a person they trust to talk to. There are too many problems in this world to be facing alone, and chances are other people have gone through situations similar to yours. When you feel yourself becoming overwhelmed and saying things you don’t mean, take a step back and close your mouth. Words can’t be taken back. Instead vent to a friend for a while, and try to gain a new perspective on the situation at hand. Chances are you’ll feel better!
It is okay to be stressed out, to feel the need to reach out, and to lean on others. However you are ultimately the only person that can change how you feel. Start being proactive and find a method of relieving stress that works for you!
