It’s really happening. HBO swears to God that it’s not an April Fools joke and that Game of Thrones Season 2 will officially premiere on April 1st. If you knew how much we talked about this show in the Campus Socialite office, you would think we were considerably less cool. In typical HBO fashion, this Game Of Thrones trailer leaves much to the imagination, but it is by no means a teaser. From what it looks like, there will be action from day 1 and it won’t stop until the end. The fight for the throne is on. Winter is here.

Just when things were starting to look up for HBO, the great TV show massacre of 2011 struck like a lighting bolt, effectively ending the cult worthy runs of “Bored To Death” and “How To Make It In America,” and putting “Hung” out of it’s misery. “Hung” I obviously understand, but for hardcore TV fans like you and I, “Bored” and “How To Make It” are bound to cause a lot of well deserved uproar.
Every TV and movie addict who has resorted to actually reading on his iPhone out of boredom’s life just got a little bit easier, with HBO Go on Cablevision and Time Warner. About damn time.
I didn’t realize that Steve Buscemi dies so much. I guess that’s the role he was born to play: that expendable bug-eyed creep who may or may not backstab you, and ends up shot dead regardless. Fortunately, Buscemi now has a stable role as Nucky Thompson in Boardwalk Empire, unless he goes the way of Sean Bean in Game of Thrones.
You probably already heard that Xbox360 is adding your cable network to its list of “other stuff this gaming console can do,” but now it’s even more official: in inside look at the new function was released in this teaser, featuring annoying Kinect voice commands. I guess that’s useful for the lazy assclowns that refuse to even lift a finger to change channels.
Happy Rosh Hashanah Everyone! To celebrate the Jewish new year, here is a dope interview I did a while back when Matisyahu swung through CT to play a show at Toad’s Place in New Haven.
We’re 7 long months away from Game of Thrones Season 2, yet HBO is already doing it’s part on promotion. I won’t lie to you, this trailer shows absolutely nothing. Still though, there’s something to be said about the fact that HBO is even releasing a teaser, 7 months before the premiere and in the midst of the actual premiere of Boardwalk Empire Season 2. Which do you think is the better show? I’m going GOT, and I’m gonna say HBO agrees.
Andrew Dice Clay emerged out of the wood-works this past summer and killed it on Entourage’s final season. Our boy, Scott Yager caught up with Dice to talk Entourage, his rejuvenated career and his possible venture into the world of Twitter. Check out the full PodCast interview, after the jump.
Never heard of Chris Lilley? Well, that’s exactly why you should read on. He has created some of the most hilarious characters on television, and I promise you’ll be left wanting more.
Sunday is the season premiere of Entourage’s very last episodes, so we figure that we have to celebrate. Not only have we gathered some of
